ITH Sweet-Pea QAYG Quilt Blocks
Today we are going to make ITH Sweet-Pea QAYG Quilt Blocks. These are lovely, easy to make quilt blocks. The blocks are 7″x7″ square so cut your fabric and batting 2″ larger all round. This will give you extra fabric to work with to complete your project. The running stitches edging the square keep the fabric taut while embroidering and are very easy to remove when the square is completed. I have also included an Accent Block which is only quilted should you want a plain block to complete your project:)
Continuous Quilt Sandwich
Today we are going to make a Continuous Quilt Sandwich using our embroidery machines. We will be using the placement method so you will need a printout of the Continuous Quilt design that you want to use. You will also need a ruler and a washable fabric marker to mark the placement of the design on your quilt. The quilt designs in this design set are in 4 hoop sizes: 5×5, 6×6, 7×7 and 8×8. You will need to match the
embroidery thread and bobbin to your fabric. Now choose your hoop size and format and load the design to your machine. No Stabilizer is needed.
Magic Floral Quilt Blocks
Today we are going to make Magic Floral Quilt Blocks using the Magic Technique.
Each quilt block is embroidered and lined In Hoop! Fabulous! You can then stitch them
together using sashing or insertion lace (or without) it’s up to you. The end result is beautiful.
Make lovely wall-hangings, cushion covers, table-runners and cloths.
All done very quickly as you will see in this tutorial.
